Principal’s Message
It is my pleasure to welcome you to Robert L. Duffy High School, Home of the Comets. RLD High is a school that offers small classes that fosters a learning environment that is personalized to the needs of each student, yet provides an academic program of the 21st Century.
The 2011-2012 school year will be a year that we reach for the stars! As we continue to focus on creating a learning environment that prepares our students to gain skills necessary to achieve their goals, we will concurrently be building a community of learners that supports one another.
This year we will unite as one community as we develop attributes of Respect, Leadership and Determination in each staff, student and community member that is privileged to be part of the “Domes.”
The Career Success Schools motto is, “Say YES to Success,” and the first step in reaching the stars is believing that the future “stars” are under our domes. Believe in yourself, believe in each other and believe in the future and we will be unstoppable!
As a Comet it is an exciting time to embark on this journey of academic excellence, strong character and perseverance- but there is no other place in the universe to be!
